Me and Mom

This photo was taken over the summer, August 2014, shortly after finding out my mom's lung cancer had metastasized to her brain.

The doctor had told us she'd lose her hair once again from the whole brain radiation sessions she had just started, she did 10 (WBR) total, so my mom opted to color her hair bluish purple while she still had it.

She always had a sense of humor and figured this would be something fun to do since it wasn't going to last long anyway! It was so like her!

The cool part was that her fiancé and two son-in-laws also colored their beards blue to support her in what she was going through. That night made great memories for everyone!
