A. Jay was on his way home from his second day on a new job when he pulled his vehicle into the emergency lane on e/b loop 202 in Mesa, Az. A. Jay got out of his vehicle, lifted the hood and may have been checking a hose or the water level when a vehicle doing at least 65 m.p.h. drifted into the emergency lane and hit his vehicle in the rear. A. Jay died instantly. The driver of the other vehicle was arrested and charged after blowing a .175. My children and I are completely devastated, A. Jay was 41 years old and left behind three children, a 19 year old son, a 15 year old and 11 year old daughter.
