I went out to my Bunny barn to feed and water rabbits. A rattlesnake had come in, without me seeing it. My dog (mini doxie) Dougie barked and my other mini doxi TeddyJay got between me and snake. They both got bit and they both died. I couldn't return the favor of them saving me. I can't have children, these were truly my babies. This is just so hard. They were heroes who saved you--that is just amazing. I can only say that time will help dull some of the pain, and I realize that is very little comfort at the moment.
