Members Remy
That sounds very difficult. Maybe he felt like it was in your best interest, after putting you and your son through that. Sorry, I'm not really sure how to reply to this. I hope your grief lessens. It sounds as though you've got some unresolved grief issues that you need to talk to someone about. While you never get over the loss of your soulmate, you do need to move forward in your life. That's not to say that you should run out and find someone else and settle for less than best or anything. What is it about others that you find lacking? What was the one thing about your relationship with your soulmate that you find is different than other relationships? Are you too afraid to give anyone else a chance because you fear the pain of possibly losing someone else? Do you feel guilty for trying to move forward? Have you considered counseling for you and your son? It sounds as though you need to really possibly get this out in the open and talk about it. Have you considered writing some of your grief issues down? Pouring your heart out may help heal it, and it may help your son, too. You've come to a community that cares,ModKonnie
