Hi all,  I'm sure you've noticed some changes in the forums. We've again had to do some updates, so that's why things may look a little different. Nothing major should have changed.  Also, we are going to start adding advertisements sensitive to our community on the boards. This is something we are experimenting with, and we will certainly make sure they are in the best interests of everyone. We want to make sure our forums continue to stay accessible and cost free to all of our members, and this is a way to ensure this.  If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to privately message me or email me at Konnie@beyondindigo.com.  As always, we will be here with you, ModKonnie

  1. Hello...I'm dying

Hey, I care about you and I'm so sorry to hear you're going through all this. My 44 year old male friend had advanced stomach cancer. He went all the way through chemo and he recovered. He looked like he felt rough during chemo, though. He's out dancing with our salsa dance group several nights per week again and it's been 3 years now since he recovered. I have also heard that cancer patients can heal a lot more quickly if they follow an organic, wholegrains / whole fruits /whole vegetables superfoods diet with no sugar or fast food. Taking high-quality turmeric w/ curcumin capsules has helped a lot of folks recover faster. I personally take NAC ("ACC" in German) that I mail order from Germany. It is now being used for many major illnesses where the body tissues are being broken down or changed. I order mine online and I like it so much because it's not some yucky heavy chemical drug. You get better soon, dear, and you are welcome to message me directly anytime you'd like.

  3. Depressed

So glad to hear from you today... It's a tough day for me too, but we'll both get through it...
  4. Loss of dad - teen

I lost my dad too. I hung in there and my life got better each year that I lived it, though. For example, afterward I got a boyfriend who treated me like a princess and stayed with me for 15 years. I also got into activities I loved, big time. Theatre, dance, running, yoga, skateboarding outside with friends in the sunshine, finding cheap ways to travel to other countries... If you hang in there, your life will be amazing. I promise!!!!!! All LOVE and take the best care! OXOXO
  5. Depressed

I am so sorry to hear that you were depressed and having suicidal thoughts when you posted this. In my heart, I believe that we, as people are too good to go through things like that. I've struggled with both depression and suicidal thoughts for 22 years. I also lost my spouse-type person of 15 years. Exercise, sunshine, and organic diet always help depression, I find. As for suicidal thoughts, the only thing that ever really seems to help is finding ways to do good for others. Somehow this is the magic antidote and it always works. It gives me a sense that life is valuable when I use it to help someone, even in a small way. In fact, I can really only help in small ways right now. It makes me feel useful to be here. It brightens me on the inside, so that I have thoughts like those much less. I give you a BIG HUG and I'm so thankful you are still here today. Please private message me if you would like. : )
