Members ortma
Hi Guys, my name is Genevieve and almost two years ago my dad died. He drowned saving two boys struggling in Lake Michigan. Since then, I’ve been trying to start up this website called SLAP’D, which stands for “Surviving Life After A Parent Dies.” It’s basically an online community for teens who have lost a parent. We are close to launching it, but it would be so awesome if anyone would check it out and play around with it… I’d love to hear what you think! So if you have a chance, would you please do that for me? Here’s the link >>>> www.slapd.com
Members Depresseddom
I just wanted to say that I love the idea of it! I'm about to sign up right now. I lost my dad when I was 12 (I am now 17). I like how us teens will be able to communicate and relate to each other. I have a hard time talking to other people even over social media platforms. I'm really excited because I don't have much in common with other people my age.
Members morelans
WOW ORTMA GREAT IDEA! I checked out the page and it looks great. Best of luck with it. Sorry it is for something so horrible but I have a feeling it will help bring some peace to others. I wish I had your motivation. I lost my father 6 weeks ago and I am still just floating around in disbelief trying to be there for my mom. I am also not a teenager but I looked around anyway.
